What is Circle?

Gather together with other women who are using the ancient, sacred power of the circle to connect with a deeper, embodied source of wisdom and authenticity.

The heart needs space and time to reveal her deep knowing. The rhythm of the circle is spacious, expansive. Responding to the energy of the group, we move, we rest, we journal, we share, we create, we take time to integrate the new.

The container that circle creates is healing. And it’s different from group therapy. We are shifting away from using the head-mind to communicate, and moving toward the heart-mind and the body-mind. In circle we have the opportunity to share vulnerably with each other, and the healing can be profound.

The different activities of circle are meant to help you drop below thinking, and into deep connection with yourself. And everything we offer is invitation. If your heart is telling you to rest, instead of move, that’s allowed! You are invited to follow your inner knowing, at all times.

I am beyond grateful for the inspiring mentorship of Carrie Haynes, and the pioneering work of Carrie’s mentor, Jalaja Bonheim.

Women’s Circle

Connecting with your heart takes time and spaciousness.

The circle is an invitation to slow down and connect with other spiritually-minded women. We intentionally create sacred space and use time-honored activities such as guided meditation, music, movement, and writing to help you shift from your head to your heart.

Our circles are not therapy groups, but instead are intended to guide you toward your deepest self, to community, and to something greater.

Becoming an Elder

If conditions allow, growth continues across the lifespan.

What does the Circle offer?

Safety enough to encourage a little risk-taking

Lively exchange of ideas

Palpable connection to the web of life

Community of other women on the path

Together we explore the spiritual dimensions of growing older.

Always, we aim for curiosity and a spirit of finding our way through the mystery. We leave certainty and conclusions outside, with our street shoes. We tune our ears to the heart’s voice.

Connect to Creativity

Creativity is the path to your aliveness.

How does the Circle help us to become more creative?

We connect in the spirit of openness.

We shift from head to heart.

We bring good will to our creative process.

We experience the feeling of making.

We share our experience with the circle.

It’s easier than you might think to create freely, when you are connected to your heart, your community, and the web of life.
